“The impression that there must be a doer where there is a doing is a grammatical rule, not a law of nature. Anything you can think of as a noun can be described as a verb. When you look for doers as distinct from deeds, you can’t find them.”
This self that inhabits a body is merely a series of actions and thoughts mostly conditioned and programmed from early childhood by parents who were also labeled, conditioned and identified. As a child , as in all humans, subconscious programming was installed. More words , more labels , more confusion to separate “I” itself from everything, but that’s impossible because everything is connected. Whoever the child was in everyone became lost in a sea of labels. Most of our adult lives are spent , hopefully, unlearning.
